Ministries
Our ministers and servers are a true blessing to our church and especially our celebration of the Mass.
We have a variety of roles in which you can serve. Please consider sharing your gifts of time and talent with our parish.
MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES
- Camillus Society – We distribute the Eucharist to the home bound on a weekly or monthly basis (upon request)
- Church Cleaning Crew – We do light cleaning of the church, Saturdays, as needed – No Meetings
- Communication Ministry – We send out variety of greeting cards to homebound for birthdays, pastoral care, etc. – No meetings
- Funeral Luncheon Committee – We provide side dishes, desserts and workers for funeral luncheons. – Meetings as needed
- Infant of Prague Society – We prepare for yearly devotion novena held 9 Mondays, evening March-May – No meetings
- Knights of Columbus – We are a fraternal benefit society which supports our church, school, community – Meeting 1st Monday each month
- Ladies Auxiliary of the K of C – We support our church, school and PSR programs – Meeting 4th Monday (no January, February, June, July)
- Liturgical Ministries – Altar Servers, Readers, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, Sacristans, Ushers Help with celebration of Mass. Training and guidance provided.
- Maintenance – We coordinate physical maintenance of our parish/school facilities. – No Meetings
- Parish Choir – We lead parish in song for occasional weekend masses and for Christmas and Easter Masses. – Meetings: weekly, to be announced
- Parish Council – We oversee the spiritual and social operation of the Parish. – Meetings: 2nd Thursday each month, or as needed
- Parish Finance Council – We oversee the financial operation of the Parish. – Meetings: 4th Tuesday each month, or as needed
- Parish School of Religion (PSR) – We provide religious instruction, sacrament prep to parish students attending public school
Classes: Sundays, September-May 9:20 – 10:20am - Prayer Support – We pray for those in need of prayers (sickness, personal, family problems, etc.) – No Meetings (contact by email or phone)
- Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) – We provide classes to prepare for full initiation into the Catholic Church. – Meetings September—March
- Rosary Altar Society – We honor Mary with the Rosary and monthly mass for members on Wednesday. We supply altar linen and other liturgical items for the parish. Upon request of the family, we will lead the rosary at visitations.
- Social Committee – Organizes first weekend of month after mass socials and the Parish annual events
- Welcome & Hospitality Committee – Greeters at weekend masses.
