Ministerios
Nuestros ministros y servidores son una verdadera bendición para nuestra iglesia y especialmente para nuestra celebración de la Misa.
Tenemos una variedad de papeles en los cuales usted puede servir. Por favor considere compartir sus dones de tiempo y talento con nuestra parroquia.
OPORTUNIDADES DE MINISTERIO
- Ministerio de Comunicación – We send out variety of greeting cards to homebound for birthdays, pastoral care, etc. – No meetings
- Grupo de Oración Cor – Refocus men on Jesus Christ and strengthen them in faith and virtue through brotherhood committed to prayer faith formation and fraternity – Men, age 18 and over.
- Homebound Ministry – We distribute the Eucharist to the home bound on a weekly or monthly basis (upon request)
- Sociedad del Niño de Praga – We prepare for yearly devotion novena held 9 Mondays, evening March-May – No meetings
- Caballeros de Colón – We are a fraternal benefit society which supports our church, school, community – Meeting 1st Monday each month
- Damas Auxiliares del K of C – We support our church, school and PSR programs – Meeting 4th Monday (no January, February, June, July)
- Lazarus Ministry – We provide side dishes, desserts and workers for funeral luncheons. – Meetings as needed
- Ministerios litúrgicos – Altar Servers, Readers, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, Sacristans, Ushers Help with celebration of Mass. Training and guidance provided.
- Maintenance – We coordinate physical maintenance of our parish/school facilities. – No Meetings
- Coro parroquial – We lead parish in song for occasional weekend masses and for Christmas and Easter Masses. – Meetings: weekly, to be announced
- Consejo Parroquial – We oversee the spiritual and social operation of the Parish. – Meetings: 2nd Thursday each month, or as needed
- Parish Finance Council – We oversee the financial operation of the Parish. – Meetings: 4th Tuesday each month, or as needed
- Formación en la fe – We provide religious instruction, sacrament prep to parish students attending public school Classes: Sundays, September-May 9:20 – 10:20am
- Prayer Support – We pray for those in need of prayers (sickness, personal, family problems, etc.) – No Meetings (contact by email or phone)
- Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) – We provide classes to prepare for full initiation into the Catholic Church. – Meetings September—March
- Sociedad del Altar del Rosario – We honor Mary with the Rosary and monthly mass for members on Wednesday. We supply altar linen and other liturgical items for the parish. Upon request of the family, we will lead the rosary at visitations.
- Comité Social – Organizes first weekend of month after mass socials and the Parish annual events
- Welcome & Hospitality Committee – Greeters at weekend masses.
