Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, declared a dogma of our faith in 1950 by Pope Pius XII, the Assumption celebrated Mary being taken up into Heaven body and soul at the end of her life. Mass for Anointing of the Sick

On Wednesday, August 7 we will celebrate 7:00pm Mass with the communal Anointing of the Sick. The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is given to those who suffer from any kind of physical, emotional, or spiritual illness, those preparing to undergo surgery, or those experiencing fatigue associated with advanced years. Through anointing, the grace of the Holy Spirit comforts and strengthens the soul of the person.

9-day Novena to Our Lady of Peace

We will be celebrating our parish Patron Our Lady of Peace with a nine-day Novena leading up to a Feast Day celebration.  Although, the actual feast day of Our Lady of Peace is  July 9, we will celebrate it on Sunday, July 14 at the 10:30am Mass.

We begin a Novena to Our Lady of Peace on Saturday, July 6, after 5:00pm Vigil Mass.

Please join us for the 9-day Novena and the Feast Day.

Have your special intention for the Novena, make a commitment and pray with us.  All are welcome.

Ash Wednesday

The Lenten Season begins Ash Wednesday and ends with celebration of the Paschal Mystery (Easter Triduum). Lent reflects the forty days Jesus spent in the desert fasting and prayer.

 

Fish Fry begins Ash Wednesday; and Fridays in Lent,  3:00-6:30pm in the Peace Family Center, 

 

Stations of the Cross begins at 7:00pm on Fridays in Lent in the Church.  Join us.
