Caroling to the Homebound

THANK YOU to carolers who have signed up to gather and sing carols to our homebound on Friday, December 21 at 6:00 pm.  Please meet in the parish office. We will car pool, sing; with social to follow. All are welcome!   Be sure to dress warm.

Advent Penance Service

Advent Penance Service will be held Wednesday, December 19 at 6:00pm. Fr. Joseph with visiting clergy Msgr. Gene Ostroskey, Msgr. Jeremiah McSweeney and Fr. Harry Dunn will be available for individual confessions.  All are welcome.

Parish Christmas Cookies and Carols

Be sure to stop by the Peace Family Center Sunday,  2:00 –4:00 pm and remember to bring a plate of your favorite cookies too as we socialize and sing Christmas carols and listen to Father Joseph read Christmas stories to the children.  All are welcome.  Bring the whole family.

Rites of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)

  • –Are you, or know someone who may be interested in becoming Catholic?
  • –Would you just like to know more about your Catholic Faith?
  • –Are you a baptized Catholic who has not completed your Sacraments?

Adult Choir

The music sounds better with YOU!  So far, we have eleven in our choir.  Anyone can join, NO experience necessary,  ALL are welcome. Stop by and see Jessica if you have questions.

 

Welcoming & Hospitality Committee

We are off and running!  Last Saturday’s Wine & Cheese Social  and Sunday’s Donut & Coffee Social was a success. Plan to attend the socials on the first weekend of the month.  If you signed up to be a greeter, the schedule is in the back of church.

 

Bible Study

BIBLE STUDY.   There will not be Bible Study on Thursday, October 18, Rather, the group will be meeting at 6:30pm at the St. Michael Angelus Center to see liturgical musician David Hass in concert.  All are welcome to join us for this

 

In Memory of & In Honor of

Veterans Day is a United States federal holiday observed annually on November 11, honoring and remembering all those who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Please send in name (rank, branch of military) and/or picture. We would like to honor them on Veterans Day. Call parish office 304-242-6579 for details.
